HISTORY
In 1955, amidst the tranquil landscapes of Faraya, a rustic chalet emerged as a sanctuary for weary travelers seeking respite from the bustling city life. Originally envisioned as a humble retreat, this quaint abode quickly captured the essence of mountain hospitality, offering warmth, comfort, and solace to all who crossed its threshold.
In 1990, following meticulous planning and dedicated effort, a new chalet emerged, ultimately taking shape as Chalet Verte upon its completion in 2000—a pivotal milestone in the chalet's progression.
In 2010, Chalet Verte underwent extensive refurbishments, opening its doors to guests seeking mountain retreats. Boasting breathtaking vistas, inviting interiors, and bespoke service, it swiftly garnered acclaim among discerning travelers.
In 2015, Faraya Chalet expanded its repertoire with the addition of Chalet Rouge—realized within a mere three months. Nestled on the ground floor, Chalet Rouge offers a cozy yet accessible lodging option for guests in search of comfort and relaxation.
In late 2022, Faraya Chalet further elevated its amenities by converting the balcony of Chalet Verte into a sprawling terrace, affording guests an expansive outdoor space to unwind and relish the scenic surroundings. Additionally, the introduction of the Faraya Chalet website in 2023 provided an intuitive online platform for guests to explore the chalets, amenities, and seamlessly book their stay.
While the original chalet remains an integral part of Faraya Chalet's legacy, it is presently not available for rent. Its preservation serves as a testament to the chalet's heritage and underscores its humble origins, enriching the narrative of Faraya's enduring charm. The decision to maintain its exclusivity is rooted in a desire to honor its historical significance and ensure its conservation for future generations to appreciate.
